Industrial wastewater refers to a variety of waste liquids generated during industrial production. Some are polluted sewage, while others are waste liquids. In any case, they are discharged along with water flow. Industrial production materials also generally cause certain pollution. What is the treatment process for such sewage?
Industrial Wastewater from Coal-fired Power Plants
Sewage from coal-fired power plants is mainly produced by the limestone desulfurization method adopted in desulfurization units, generating large amounts of desulfurization wastewater. If discharged directly, such wastewater will harm human health and contains various heavy metal elements. On the one hand, it accelerates the corrosion of desulfurization equipment; on the other hand, it affects the quality of gypsum by-products, so timely treatment and discharge are required.
The treatment process includes multiple processing systems. Firstly, the wastewater is treated to filter out internal pollutants. Then chemical agents are added for neutralization, as most of the wastewater is toxic. Afterwards, sludge dewatering is carried out to meet the technical requirements of wastewater treatment, with supporting treatment equipment fully equipped throughout the process.
